| seventeen years purged. |
the cast: men who have offered their bodies, minds and sometimes hearts to me over the past seventeen years. otherwise know as "the ex."
(pardon the cult film aliases.)
mr. white: musician, skater, loner, only-child, slightly bipolar, drug addict. we tortured each other until it was no longer fun. ("lovesong"; "reel around the fountain")
mr. orange: writer, fairly older than me, mysterious. short-lived. ("i go crazy")
mr. blonde: musician, beautiful voice, sincere, whole-hearted, best friend. regrets. ("mandolin rain"; "build me up buttercup")
mr. pink: my complete opposite. sports fanatic, narcissistic, verbally abusive, wannabe musician, bossy. ("one"; "black")
mr. blue: artist, self-motivated, commitment issues, giver, long history together. ("in your eyes"; "with or without you")
mr. brown: facade, overly dramatic. ("the twilite kid"; "the blower's daughter")
some of you will read these (non)descriptives and depict the complete opposite of the real thing in your minds. i'll keep the intimate flashes in my head, far away from the fingertips that write to you now. |

| spin me again. |
i am forever in transition. i don't mind it, unlike most people, who would rather be settled and living a predictable life. being in transition gives you the wonderful opportunity to look at all of the possibilities, and not necessarily be forced to make a decision. i don't feel pressured to make any definate decision about anything in my life at the moment. why should i? the last time i did, it turned out to be a complete disaster. i am however, grateful for it. i have discovered so many things about myself that were hindered behind a year-long lie. it may sound somber, but it is anything but.
i am going to revel in what it is that i have now, and learn to do the math. |
